The puzzle was designed in 2010 by Acady Dyskin & Pantazis Houlis, both University lecturers with Engineering backgrounds from Western Australia and was judged in the TOP 10 at THE 2010 Nob Yoshigahara International Puzzle Design Competition. Pantazis is seen below accepting his award from Nick Baxter at the Awards Dinner held in July 2010 in Hakone, Japan.
