PANDAmonium at the Zoo
21 January 2022Edward Hordern IPP38 Puzzle Exchange – San Diego, USA August 2018. 220 made. Presented by Rosemary Howbrigg. Made by Mr Puzzle Australia. Designed by Brian…
At Mr Puzzle we made three puzzles for the IPP in Berlin. Two very different puzzles by the same designer: Junichi Yananose. And Brian designed his own progressive discovery puzzle “off the back of the bat”… to “torture” everyone…. all puns fully intended!
P & L packing puzzle Presented by Grant Smith. Made by Brian Young @ Mr Puzzle Australia. Designed by Junichi Yananose.
Pack the P’s and L’s in the frame so that only “IPP31” is visible when completed. The puzzle comes unsolved to give you the full packing challenge.
Burrliner Kruse Presented by Karst Nauta. Made by Brian Young @ Mr Puzzle Australia. Designed by Junichi Yananose.
The Burrliner Kruse is a 12 piece plated burr based on the Altekruse type burrs.
The puzzle is a completely new design by Junichi Yananose, who took his inspiration from the original and well-known Altekruse Puzzle. It was a ‘by-product’ of the analysis he did to create the Windmill Burr that we made in the 2010 Limited Edition series.
Houdini’s Torture Cell Designed, made and presented by Brian Young @ Mr Puzzle.
The object of the puzzle is to free Houdini from The Torture Cell. To do that you’ll have to discover the tools and work out how to use them.
The idea for Houdini’s Torture Cell came from one of the locks in the incredibly complex The Opening Bat puzzle – part of the Sold Out Limited Edition 2010 series.
