IPP wooden Burr 14 piece
Made specifically for IPP to represent the IPP logo in 2001.
Edward Hordern IPP Puzzle Exchange – Tokyo,Japan. August 2001. 180 made. Now sold out.
Presented by Brian Young. Made by Brian Young @ Mr Puzzle Australia. Designed by Brian Young.
Original Price: AU$80.00
In November 2022 one of these puzzles resold at Puzzle Paradise auction for USD 70.00 (at the current exchange rate that’s about AU$107.00)
Brian created a completely new burr design for IPP. The puzzle was not used as an IPP exchange puzzle. Just a fun burr to represent the logo. It has 14 interlocking pieces and takes 13 directional moves to remove the first piece.
Brian also designed the original IPP Design Competition trophies. The basis of their design lies in this puzzle although a number of pieces have been changed to make it even more difficult.
The puzzle is presented in Queensland Silver Ash timber. A permanent ink is used to colour the IPP logo.
Size 100mm x 100mm x 100mm
